It’s with great pleasure that FADU Portugal University Sports organizes the 24th edition of the FISU World University Championship Orienteering.

From From 28 July to 1 August 2026, the city of Vila Real, Portugal, will welcome the world’s best university orienteers for a unique competition that blends sport, nature, and strategy.

Set among the stunning landscapes of northern Portugal, the championship will challenge athletes to navigate diverse terrains with precision, endurance, and teamwork — celebrating the spirit of university sport and adventure.
